NAMAZI has spent decades pushing boundaries across electronic music, with a sound rooted in the underground and constantly evolving. A pioneer of India’s early electronic music scene, he began DJing in the late ’90s, at a time when dance music was only beginning to take hold in the region. In the early 2000s, he moved to London to study audio engineering, turning his focus from simply playing records to creating them. Since then, NAMAZI’s career has taken him through many facets of electronic music, from DJing and production to running nightclubs and hosting radio shows. His productions have been released on labels including Toolroom, Nervous and Go Deeva, alongside remixes for chart-topping artists and performances alongside some of the most respected names in the scene. In December 2025, his collaboration with Space Motion and Tomy Wahl marked another important chapter, with “Zeruna” reaching #1 and receiving support from artists including David Guetta and Korolova. His subsequent release on JEAHMON! Records, the “Keep It Coming” EP with Tomy Wahl, continued that momentum, earning support from Adriatique, Innellea and Mark De Pulse. Today, NAMAZI’s sound sits between Melodic, Indie, Tech and deeper shades of Techno, bringing together groove, atmosphere and a strong sense of musicality. His sets and productions blur genre boundaries while remaining unmistakably his own. His philosophy is simple: “trying to change the world one good record at a time.”
